We wanted you to be the first to know about a change in price regarding a feature that you are currently using, Hold with a Credit Card, which is the easiest way to protect your business from no-shows and late cancellations. The exciting news is we are adding some new functionality to protect your business even further. Here is the flip side — we are merging this feature to be part of our Payment add-on at the end of July.
For some of you out there, this won’t be much of anything, and for others it may mean a great deal. We realize you’ve been using this feature at no cost and wanted to take some time to connect on why it’s time to merge these features. We’ve thought a lot about what “a better system” means to our business users, and thankfully many of you have taken the time to share your ideas with us. Our biggest request to improve this feature is for you to be able to enter and store a client’s card from within your account, as currently this is only available when clients book online. Spoiler alert: this addition is coming your way!

As you may already know, the Payment add-on is $5/month for single provider accounts and $10/month for multi provider accounts. However, during this transition we want to offer you a special rate of $1/month for the first 2 months as an opportunity to see all that Payment has to offer — we hope you like it!
With the Payment add-on, you can:
+ NEW Hold with a Credit Card protection from the business side – YAY!
+ Hold with a Credit Card protection when clients book online
+ The option to charge clients in person through Schedulicity
+ Ability to require full pre-payment or partial deposit when clients book online
+ Payment reporting for easy record keeping
+ Choose Stripe or, our preferred partner, Square as your payment processor
HERE IS WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS TRANSITION
If you already have a credit card on file, we don’t want you to lose your no-show protection and want to make this easy, so the Payment add-on will automatically be enabled for you when we update at the end of July. You will notice an additional charge of $1 on your next two billing cycles, and then $5/single or $10/multi starting at the end of September. Of course, you are free to disable the add-on at any time if it’s not something you’re interested in. If you already know the Payment add-on is not right for your business and you don’t want to check it out at this special pricing, please give us a call and we’ll be sure you’re taken care of. Do keep in mind, if you opt out of the Payment add-on, your no-show protection will be disabled and credit cards will no longer be collected when clients book online.
If you are currently paying for a different add-on, in order to take advantage of the $1 special pricing, contact our Support Rockstars so we can hook you up with this discount as it is not automatically applied to your account. You can also enable the Payment add-on in your account under Settings-Subscription, though you’ll want to contact us so we can enable the feature for you at a sweet discount! Do keep in mind, if you do nothing, cards will no longer be collected when clients book online once we update at the end of the July.
