  • Deep understanding of the Agile Manifesto and track record of improving teams using its principles
  • We’re looking for someone who has experience defining agile/lean processes, and seeks the right solution for the team rather than following a dogmatic established process.

  • Solid facilitation and problem solving skills and ability to focus both strategically and tactically to achieve project goals.
  • Flexibility to lead diverse dynamic team to deliver integrated solutions
  • Proven track record of juggling remote teams and remote employees within those teams

  • Establish and maintain project communication with product, engineering and necessary stakeholders.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of each sprint – the who, what, why, and how of each and every sprint and doing whatever it takes to remove any and all impediments
  • Escalate project and team risks and work with stakeholders to define mitigation plans
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and communication

Characteristics & Behaviors

  • Assertive, driven, enthusiastic, vivacious individual that just cannot get enough time hanging out with developers

  • While we would love for you to have the capability to consistently make good decisions, it is even more important that you accept responsibility when you’ve made bad ones. So always be transparent and self-critical.
  • Be at the top of your game with a deep curiosity about the latest and greatest in the area of high performing technology teams and lean processes with a bias toward self-education when faced with unfamiliar problems or objectives.

  • Scrum master certification or equivalent scrum master experience
  • 2+ years in scrum-based software project management
  • Bachelor’s degree
