Pre-payment and Deposit just added to our Square Integration

Now you can swipe, type or require payment when your clients book online!


  • In-person payments: Square reader (swipe), Square stand, Square touchless/chip reader from an iOS or Android device
  • Process keyed-in payments
  • Payment through checkout of appointments, classes and workshops
  • Process a payment with a card on file
  • Ability to require a full prepayment, deposit or hold with a credit card when a client books online
  • Process refunds
  • Process Fill My Book and Deal Manager promoted deals with Square
  • Process payments with multiple Square accounts
As the Square integration is an option under the Schedulicity payment add-on, keep in mind the limited time cost of this add-on of $5 for single-provider businesses, and $10 for multiple-provider businesses. Square offers incredible rates for payment transactions:
  • Key-in on Schedulicity (desktop) or card on file: 2.9% + $0.30
  • Swipe, chip and dip, or contactless: 2.75%
  • Key-in through the Square app (iOS or Android): 3.5% + $0.15
  • *Square will refund processing fees if the full transaction is refunded¬†
  1. First, make sure you have payment enabled on your account by going to the Settings tab and clicking the Subscription tile.
  2. Next, go back to the Settings tab and click on the Payments tile. Click the blue “get connected with Square” button and either login or sign-up with Square.
  3. Now go check it out! Just like payment before, you can charge a card from inside an appointment by clicking the green “checkout” button.
